Sweden participated in the inaugural edition of Eurasia Music Competition. The Swedish broadcaster, Sveriges Television (SVT), has been the organizer of the Swedish Eurasian entry since the nation debut in the contest.
Due to the bad results of the competition, since the 11th edition, the Swedish broadcaster TV4 took over the organization of the Swedish entry into Eurasia.
